TOP EUROPEAN SPORTS EVENTS IN 2012

1. London 2012 Olympics & Wimbledon The buzz is beginning to build for the London Summer Games in August 2012 being held shortly after the world's tennis stars hit Wimbledon. More than 10,000 athletes will compete for gold in this ancient sporting event. Hot on the trail of the Royal Wedding, London is place to be in 2012 so book early. 2. FIS Alpine Ski World Cup in Italy In December and January the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup will be held at various ski resorts in the north of Italy including; Val Gardena-Groeden, Alta Badia, Cordina d'Ampezzo and Bormio. It's considered by many to be an even more valuable title than the Winter Olympics as it requires the competitor to ski at a high level in more than one discipline throughout an entire season as opposed to just a single race.

3. Monaco Grand Prix 2012 Widely considered to be one of the most prestigious automobile races in the world, the Monaco Grand Prix is more than just a car race.
